Does Crowdsourcing Work?

June 22, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Shaun Abramanson from Mutopo is in BusinessWeek regarding crowdsourcing.

I believe in more ideas being better, so for many creative processes I think the net [gain] will be good. But I know it’s not that simple. It’s going to be brutal, I think for a number of industries while models transition. I think about crowdsourcing as the ultimate extension of entpreneurship.

I think he’s dead-on. Crowdsourcing isn’t a simple solution that always works magically but it’s inevitable that many business processes will become more efficient through different applications of crowdsourcing.

Also, btw, Shaun wrote a great post, The best advertising is not advertising., the other day.
